About the Flintshire Leisure Tour and this website
The Flintshire Leisure Tour is not a 'virtual reality' computer based tour, it is a physical, well signposted drive for vehicles around the county of Flintshire in North East Wales, United Kingdom (U.K.).
Each section of the route within this website is covered by an introductory page, a further details page and an additional page of links out to websites of interest.
The text within the website is largely taken from the original published brochure (now replaced by a new brochure) about the Tour although additional text has been and will be added. Some of the photos are also taken from the old brochure.

The Flintshire Leisure Tour website has been provided by The Flintshire Tourism Association, an independent organisation working closely with the Tourism Section of Flintshire County Council.
The reason for the provision of the website is to introduce the viewer to the signposted drive and to the many areas of interest, history and places to visit within the fascinating county of Flintshire.
